New Bush Same As The Old Bush
Shame on George W. Bush, yesterday in a speech before the Veterans of Foreign Wars he said he should not be held accountable for the lies he and his administration propagated in order to start a war against Iraq. He said he should not be held accountable for the thousands of American deaths or the tens of thousands of American injuries that are the result of those lies. Shame on George Bush for saying that to tell the truth about his deceit would bring, “comfort to our adversaries.” Shame on George Bush for saying it is irresponsible for pointing out his many lies. When he says, “The American people know the difference between responsible and irresponsible debate when they see it. They know the difference between honest critics who question the way the war is being prosecuted and partisan critics who claim that we acted in Iraq because of oil, or because of Israel, or because we misled the American people,”he delves even deeper into his world of deception and depravity.
Shame on George Bush for hiding behind the troops he demands to risk their lives in a war based on his lies. He says, “This war began with a sudden attack on September the 11th, 2001.” That is not true. It has been proven many times over that Iraq and Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11. This war began on Thursday, March 20, 2003, though it had been planned for at least 12 years earlier.
Shame on George Bush for implying that he supplied our troops with all the necessary equipment and supplies they needed. He said, “And we must continue to provide these troops with all the resources they need to defend our nation and prevail in the global war on terror.” This is another lie. He didn’t send them with the proper resources and he still has not provided them. Soldiers’ families to this day are still supplying body and vehicular protective armor to their sons, daughters, husbands, and wives who are risking their lives in the contrived Bush War.
Shame on George Bush just for being George Bush, he has shirked responsibility and the truth his whole adult life. He never admits his mistakes. He denies them until some benefactor bails him out. Even though his father got him into the Texas Air National Guard in order to avoid Vietnam, this was too demanding for George. He went AWOL for a year and then had the temerity to ask for and receive an early discharge. He claims to have been a successful businessman yet every venture he started failed until someone like a Saudi prince or the Harvard Corporation came to his rescue. He claims to be anti-corruption yet he made almost a million dollars on insider trading of Harken Oil. Had his dad not been President he most likely would have been brought to trial by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). He claims to be a defender of private property and for lowering taxes. Yet while he was involved with the Texas Rangers baseball team he asked for and received eminent domain to get land to build a stadium and a sales tax to pay for building it.
Shame on George Bush, America deserves much better than him and his radical supporters.
The Bush Credo - No Sacrifice Is Too Great For Others To
crimes against the Constitution and the American people. Good Work!
All too common to see the kind of brainless generic reaction typified by the first post. Is that Ken Mehlman's latest talking point? Could have been posted by a bot! Maybe they just can't pay for quality liars now that Abramoff's been shut down!
Just passing along something that someone said to me.
My friend reported that shortly before the November elections in 2004, he was sitting quietly on the edge of his bed when, out of the blue, a voice firmly stated "Bush and Blair will resign from office on the same day." I know, I know. No one else was in the bedroom at the time. But my friend swears that a voice, out of thin air, spoke these words which he distinctly heard. Strange, huh? By the way, he's a musician and artist...and has worked for some of the top rock-n-roll bands.
I usually don't give much credence to "voices speaking out of the blue," but wouldn't it be something if Bush and Blair did resign from their respective offices on the same day.
Of course, for this to occur, then something terrible would have had to have happened. Beyond what these two have already done. And sought to cover up. Something, that when revealed, will cause a major outcry in the United States and Britain...and lead to Bush and Blair's immediate downfall.
Bush and Blair will launch air attacks against Iran within the next several months in an attempt to destory Iran's nuclear ambitions. And the scandal will be? Bush and Blair will authorize the use of tactical nuclear weapons in the attack on Iran. It will be the first use of nukes in a war since the end of World War II and the nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
That would probably do it.
I can see both Bush and Blair being forced out of office if they use nukes instead of conventional weapons when (not if) they attack Iran. And I think they will. Don't you?
bush's new plan for the war on terror is to eliminate the First, Fourth, Sixth, and Eighth Amendments of our Bill of Rights, while he WAVES our CONSTITUTION as a WHITE FLAG due to "fear of terrorists", Osama gives a speech with a "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" banner in the background somewhere in a safe place.
We hold these truths to be self evident. The history of King George is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny.
When a long train of abuses, designed to reduce the ordinary man to powerlessness under absolute Despotism, it is the common man's right and duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for the future security of the people.
Specific quote from the same source:
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."
Do folks know who I am quoting, or will I be accused of treason and reported to the authorities by Bush supporters/apologists?
If the latter, a quote from a different source:
"I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!"
But this is not a war against them. It is actually a war against American democracy and the American middleclass and this war is lead by a terrorist and that terrorist is George W. Bush. So far, the populous of America has cowed down and traded liberty after liberty for the illusion of "safety."
George Bush is not just a liar, he is a terrorist. He is a murderer of almost 2500 American soldiers and at least 40,000 Iraqi men, women, and children.
In addition to that, he has stripped us of our most essential right - the right to elect our leaders. He has robbed our poor and our sick of food and medicine and given the money thus saved to people who are already so rich they don't know what to do with their money.
And he does this all in the name of God. If there were a God, God would strike him down dead.
